The Music Festival “Pīlādzis” is a well-known, international, high level Rock and Pop project that first was held in 2010.
The festival has earned positive feedback from musicians, sound and light technicians and visitors.
Festival "Pīlādzis 2012"
The festival was held from 29th till 30th June. More than 40 groups of well-known artists from the Baltic states and Latvia participated in the festival.
The mood was created by DJ [Ex] da Bass. Radio SWH DJ Artis Dvarionas and one of the best DJ in Turkey – DJ Seresir, and others.
The sound equipment for the big stages was provided by KM and lighting equipment by NA. The tent was provided by IMI2.
Festival "Pīlādzis 2011"
The festival was held in 2011 from 29th till 30th July. The festival had three stages for the variety purposes.
This festival promotes international cooperation because the festival gives stage for both musicians from Latvia and neighbouring countries as well – Lithuanian – Colours Of Bubbles, form Estonia – Junk Riot and Kosmofon, as well as DJ from Purtogal – ZinhO The EarthquakE.
All the performances given on the “Pļava” stage (Meadow stage) were filmed and broadcast on LNT Music Channel.
Festival "Pīlādzis 2010"
The festival was held in 2010 from 13th till 30th August. The stationary Pļavas stage was built for the first festival and was performed on by both new groups and well-known groups like The Wow, Ēnas, Double Faced Eels, Pienvedēja Piedzīvojumi, Linga, Wild, Full Out Of Control, Laime Pilnīga, Pērkons, Triānas Parks, Inokentijs Mārpls, Goran Gora, Agnia&Automatic Eye from Finland, as well as DJ Toms Grēviņš and Artis Volfs.
All of the performances were filmed and now is available on www.piladzis.lv. These videos were regularly translated on LNT Music Channel.
The visitors were given a lot of different activities to experience: “Annele” inflatable bouncers, project – open air play “Brēmenes Muzikanti” created by Independent Theatre “Kabata” and umka.lv, Dirty Deal movie tent, demonstrations in motocross, moto trial and velo trial, movie tent, competitions, non-traditional sports games “Surikāti”, and other activities.
